hinesburg nursery school: Program

Hinesburg Nursery School offers a high quality preschool program for children ages 3-5. The maximum number of students per day is 15. We have 2 wonderful, caring and well-qualified teachers.

The school follows the public school calendar (Hinesburg Community School) for openings and closings.
Hours: 8:30AM to 12:00PM Monday thru Friday. Children can attend as many mornings as they wish (we recommend at least two).
Tuition a monthly fee based on how many days per week your child attends. Our current rate is $70 so, for instance, if your child attends two days per week your monthly bill is $140 per month, if he/she attends three days per week, your bill is $210 per month.

Learning Environment:

The morning is filled with opportunities for individual expression via art, music, and cooperating with peers. The morning routine includes the following:

Circle Time - Singing, stretching, sharing. Typically centered around a theme for the week
Creative Activities - coloring, pretend playing, painting, writing, and working with manipulatives
Snack - provided by the school
Outdoor play in our convenient backyard playground - NEWLY EXPANDED to include a larger play area

Cooperative Management

The school is a parent cooperative. This means that every family is active in the school. We share responsibility for managing the business as well as caring for the facility. We engage in fundraising activities to provide a quality program at a reasonable price. We also offer scholarships to those in need of financial assistance.
